Bring your golf clubs & enjoy the challenging nine – hole grass green course. The par 36(mens) and 39(womens) course is located one mile northwest of Tioga. It is a Semi-Private course. From the back tees, the course plays over 2873 yards. Tioga opened in 1961.

In early September of each year, the Tioga Farm Festival brings a weekend of family fun to Tioga. Events include a Lifestock Show, FFA Events, Tractor Pull, Demolition Derby, and more, located at the Tioga High School. Don’t miss this fun event for the whole family!

The Saddle Club has various events year-round, from “Frigid Fundays” in January–April, to the summertime White Earth Valley Rodeo and Pageant in June. They also have an upcoming Obstacle Challenge, Horse Clinic, and Trail Ride.

Hunting and Fishing

Tioga is home to an abundance of hunting opportunities including deer, pheasant, duck and geese. Here are a few of the great locations for fishing in William’s County:

  • Tioga Dam
    Just 4 minutes away, the Tioga Dam is primarily a northern pike fishery, although small perch and bluegill are also present. The depth is approx. 31 feet at its deepest point. There is a fishing pier to fish off of. Learn More.
  • Whitetail Bay (Lund’s Landing)
    Just 30 minutes away, Lund’s Landing Marina will equip you with a boat rental for some Lake Sakakawea fishing. A picnic shelter is also available. Learn More.
  • Little Beaver Bay
    About 35 min away, Little Beaver Bay has 3 boat ramps, camping, a walking trail, playground, and more. It’s a great place to spend the day! Learn More.
  • Cottonwood Lake
    About 40 min away, the lake is approximately 13 ft deep, and a great place to catch Northern Pike and Yellow Perch. There is a pier to fish off of. Learn More.
